For years, our line was: "If you want a plain old website, we're probably not your shop. If you want an enterprise web app, we're your shop." Half of that was wrong, and we've retired it.
Here's what changed. We spent the last couple of years building the kind of software people assume needs a city address — a compliance platform that keeps a San Diego truck shop ahead of CARB instead of scrambling behind it, a studio platform that runs a photographer's whole business, booking engines, client portals, AI dashboards. All of it built up the mountain, in Ranchita. It turns out enterprise software doesn't care about your zip code. It cares whether somebody will answer the phone when it matters — and that part we've always had covered.
But the "plain old website" attitude? Wrong. Backcountry and rural businesses deserve fast, well-built websites, and sometimes a good website is exactly the right amount of technology. So that's on the menu now, no apology attached. And if your business outgrows it, the web-app shop is the same phone number.
